I’m a Mermaid

Dahlia at Union Market

Happy new year ladies and gents! Can you believe that it’s 2016? I don’t mean to sound like a walking cliche, but amazing things are going to happen this year.

Typically when a new year arrives people make these outrageous resolutions that they never follow through with…myself included. This year I didn’t really make any resolutions, 1) I was tired of being upset by February for not following through. 2) I wanted to start the new year without putting so much pressure on myself.

So instead of resolutions, I made small realistic goals. This list of goals is like two pages long,
but things are actually getting crossed off. GAME CHANGER.

One of the things on my list was to spend a little time and $$$ on myself, which I have the hardest time doing. I have been dreaming of long mermaid hair, so I walked into my stylist’s salon and she made my dreams come true. I am so in love with my new hair *insert heart eye emoji*

There are so many possibilities with this hair! Braids, waves, curls and freaking ponytails that won’t look like a paintbrush. PRAISE.
